Cancellations and SubstitutionsTo be eligible for a full refund the purchase must be cancelled within 7 days. If you wish to cancel your attendance at a conference and/or exhibition and you are unable to send a substitute, then we will refund 50% of the due fees less a £50 administration charge, providing cancellation is made in writing and received at least 28 days prior to the start of the event. Regretfully cancellation after this time cannot be accepted.

If we have to cancel the event for any reason we will make a full refund of fees but disclaim any further liability.

Speaker Changes Occasionally it is necessary for reasons beyond our control to alter the contents and timing of the programme or the identity of the speakers.

Warning - Risk of Covid-19

Covid–19, often referred to as coronavirus, is an infectious disease that can result in serious and potentially fatal illness. There is a risk of the transmission of Covid–19 in any environment where people come together. This risk increases in enclosed spaces and with increased numbers of people. The World Health Organisation has advised that the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions are more vulnerable.

Upon entering the event you assume all risk associated with Covid-19. You also agree to abide by all government guidance aimed at preventing the transmission of the virus (details of which can be accessed via the following link www.gov.uk/coronavirus and follow all directions provided by staff members and set out in the signage within the venue.

Omega Conferences shall be entitled to cancel any Event(s) at any time if required due to any government guidance/restrictions and the refund policy set out in the Event Terms and Conditions shall apply.

The organizer and its processor idloom process your data in compliance with European GDPR. The information you have provided is necessary to organize the event you will be attending, to generate invoices, to confirm your registration by e-mail, to create your badge and to allow you to modify your registration. This data may also be processed by the organizer upon its legitimate interest: to promote its activities by informing you about them, to show you offers from partners and sponsors regarding this event, to obtain analytics about this event, to ensure a satisfactory networking by showing your name and company on the list of attendees. You are entitled to object to these processing operations.

idloom shall only process User’s personal data in the European Union, or in third countries after having secured appropriate guaranties with the subcontractor or recipient. They are transferred to the country of the organizer. The organizer will keep your data after the event until the expiry of the legal retention obligations, in particular fiscal and accounting and until the end of the responsibility.

You can obtain from the organizer (data protection officer available at digby.williams@omconf.com / tel: 01304 806913) the written communication of your data, as well as, where appropriate, portability of the data, rectification, restriction of processing, deletion of data which is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant. For further information or to lodge a complaint you may also contact the supervisory authority of the country of your habitual residence.
